This Funchal Marina 2 webcam stream provides stunning views of the Funchal waterfront along Avenida do Mar, including Praça do Povo, the Marina, and Parque de Santa Catarina.

Check out the people strolling by on this live shot of Avenida Sá Carneiro and the roundabout, or watch the parades that take place along the avenue during the Carnival and Flower Festival. The roundabout is where Avenida Sá Carneiro and Avenida do Mar meet.

The Cathedral, known as Sé do Funchal, was built in 1614 and can be seen here in real time. Revel in the Cathedral's fantastic architecture, the incredible ceiling and the Bishop's Throne; or simply known what time it is.
This rare example of Manueline design is the only one on the island and well worth visiting.

On this Madeira Webcam of Avenida do Mar you get a close up of the avenue and Palácio de São Lourenço. The Carnival and Flower Festival Parades run along this avenue, which is the main road that connects the city centre to the Old Town.

Funchal Marina, a lively waterfront with many cafés and restaurants. Take a trip on the catamaran and go dolphin watching or just relax in the sun and soak up the atmosphere.

On this live webcam feed of the waterfront, you can also see the People's Square (Praça do Povo), one of the main meeting points in Funchal city centre, and from where you can enjoy wonderful views, celebrate New Year's Eve and watch the fireworks.

Parque de Santa Catarina and Avenida do Infante are two highlights on this camera.
Santa Catarina Park is a great place for an evening stroll and a lovely location from which to watch the sun rise over Funchal Harbour. There are many old trees and attractive plants here; on still days the heady aroma of exotic flowers fills the air.
Avenida do Infante is the road on the right, which goes along the park and connects to Estrada Monumental.

On the right-hand side of the image, you can also see the façade of Plaza Madeira shopping centre, as well as a view over the hills towards Pico Fortress (aka St John the Baptist Fort), which was built in the early 1600s in response to pirate raids. It offers excellent views over Funchal and has a small museum.
